this is my third year to be blogging and my third year to share photos of fall foliage.
it’s kind of funny to me. like, how many different pictures of leaves can you take? how much more can you possibly talk about fall and say something that you haven’t said already?
but yet, here i am…three years later. seeing things differently than i did three years ago. the same, but different.
i don’t know if that even makes sense.
i guess all i really wanted to say is that autumn still continues to take my breath away. nature still inspires me. amazes me. blesses me.
i hope it is a blessing for you too. love, kelly
Yes, this is exactly how I feel too Kelly! Love the quote on the last photo!
I was thinking the exact same thing! Every Autumn I run out to take photos of essentially the same trees….yet each shot turns out different! Lovely, lovely shots!
Visiting from Texture Tuesday.
You can never have enough photos of Autumn they are an endless source of inspiration.
But your photos look new & fresh, timeless….
Beautiful, beautiful fall images. Great post!
Oh I hear you. But I never get tired of looking at fall…. never. And your photos are beautiful.
Your autumn pictures are gorgeous, Kelly !
Wonderful colors and great quote !
Nice week,
Sylvia
…the same but different, I get that!
This year, unlike the past, there just isn’t any color. Not even the pear trees have changed into that gorgeous red. So I am thankful for your fall photos, which are beautiful!
Such exquisite photos! And I’ve had the same blessing this fall, Kelly. Each time I go outside, I want to shoot and shoot and shoot some more. My dogwood trees have been especially pretty this year and the metamorphosis was brilliant. I kept thinking: how many photos of my dogwood trees do my friends really want to see? And the best part … there is still so much beauty out there! So yes … the same but different.
Love that quote, and all the fall colors. We don’t have quite as many here. In fact I just saw the wind remove some green leaves off a tree in the back. Seems unfair.
Beautiful images and I love that quote!!
Such lovely photos! Autumn has the same effect on me – always inspiring and always reminding me of everything I have to be thankful for. Have a good day 🙂
Being from Southern California we do not get the abundance of color changing trees, it does happen but it’s not everywhere and usually a tad bit later than the East Coast or middle America even. So Each fall I’m so happy to be able to take in the leaves that others share. One time a contact of mine from Virgina sent me a few real live colorful leaves in the mail. This is how much I appreciate your falls.
Much love
Tracie
When we look with a fresh perception, things look different, a stale one and they look exactly the same. Love your fresh perception, Kelly.
i feel the same way. in fact, this year i’m reigning myself in more than usual with the overabundance of fall foliage shots, and making mental photographs instead for me to savor come this long grey winter ahead of us.
