he came three weeks early and backwards.
he was a good baby and a sweet boy.
he is a big brother.
his loved spending summers at his family’s lake house.
he was his ‘pampaw’s’ helper. his favorite thing was tagging along with his grandad on saturday rounds and going with him to OU football games.
he was an athlete and a football star.
he was a total hottie. {my mom thinks he looks like patrick duffy in this photo}
he loves to hunt turkey and quail.
he said ‘i do’ and made me his wife on a snowy january evening.
he became a father a year and a half later.
he loves his daughter with heart bigger than dallas. he is a proud sooner dad.
he is a wonderful husband and father.
he is a loving son.
he is an adventurer and traveller. he has taken me halfway around the world and to some of the most beautiful places on earth.
he dreams of living at the beach.
he prefers diet pepsi over diet coke. he puts pickle relish on his beans. he likes honey on his cornbread and peanut butter on his pancakes.
today he is celebrating his 50th birthday. and for almost 22 years, i have been blessed to have him in my life.
