good morning!
i know i don’t usually post in the morning during the week. but i have taken a day of PTO to tackle this.
***warning…you might want to shield your eyes***
yes, this is our office. and it is a giant disaster area.
i was joking with a friend of mine at work telling her about this space. and she said, ‘oh it’s that room.’
exactly… it’s THAT room.
you know…the room in your house where when you don’t really know where to put something so you put it in there.
- boxes of old records
- a graveyard of dead laptops
- piles and piles of papers
but today i’m hoping to transform this space into something less hideous. an office still, but also a creative space…light, happy, inspiring.
i’ll keep you posted. but for now, pray for me. and if you don’t hear from me in a day to two, call in the search and rescue teams. 
i’m going in!

Hats off to you, Kelly, for your industry! My office needs the same kind of attention. A clean, orderly, cheerful space is so much more conducive to creativity, don’t you think? For the summer, though, I’m sharing my office with a 7-year old, so I think I’ll wait til fall. Good luck!
It wasn’t THAT bad. Am anxious to see how it all turns out. Enjoyed helping move furniture with my handy dandy “scooters” this morning. It’s sooooooo nice to finally be close enough to hang out with my daughter doing fun stuff.
Good luck! I have one of those rooms I call a craft room. Now, everything in there pretty much has to do with crafts, but oh it can get in such a mess!!
