do what?
don’t say it….i know what you’re thinking…
but here’s the story. i’m taking this still life photography class with kim klassen. and today she shared some suggestions for getting photographs off of our computers and into our hands.
which is, as you probably know, a subject near and dear to my heart.
anyway, when i went to today’s lesson, it just so happened that i had just finished creating a scrapbook page based on this blog post.
i love it when things like that happen. like all my creative karma (or chakras or whatever) is all in alignment.
or something like that.
anyway, a couple of thoughts about this…
the first is that it reinforces for me why i started blogging and why i still very much love it – telling stories, preserving memories. and i love how my blog sometimes acts as documentationary safe-keeping.
i just made that up, but i think you get my drift
and second thing is that is reinforces my passion for getting photos off the computer. print your pictures! please. whether you want to scrapbook or do digital photo books. or just upload your instagram shots to walgreens and hang them up in your kitchen.
print your pictures.
you will thank me.
that is all.
love, me.
Everyone should listen to you!!! I do!!!! ALL the time! And each time I do PL I think of you and am grateful.
Love this! Just got an envelope of pictures in the mail today- I can’t wait to get them in an album!
Such good advice! I’m trying to do better this year! I just printed off (5) 5×7’s of my grandsons at the beach and they’re now on my piano!
Very good advice and it’s something I definitely should do more of. Thanks so much for the reminder!
