While I Was Away

It’s happened again. An extended break from blogging followed by a lot of overthinking on my part as to how to come back and say hello while acknowledging said blogging break.

Maybe I just accomplished that.

See, that wasn’t so hard.

While I was away, life was full of the ordinary ups and down that I often share here. But in addition to that, I am thrilled to share that my daughter and son-in-law welcomed a son into the world.

My grandson was born on November 4th, and he is growing and thriving with all of the love and care from his momma and daddy.

As for me, I’m still getting used to saying ‘grandson’. And seeing my baby with her baby is a wonder and a joy that I can’t quite fully express with words.

Now that I’m back into a more regular routine in my day-to-day life, I hope to get back to a regular routine of posting here. As always, thank you for your continued support.
